Werda Speech Pathology

Werda Speech Pathology is a children’s speech pathology practice based in Windsor, Queensland. The client’s request was for a practice that met the needs for aesthetics, functionality and practicality. The small floor plate of the tenancy was a working challenge but provided an opportunity to explore alternative design solutions as well as take advantage of the tenancy’s high ceiling and access to natural light.

Careful consideration was taken for material selections to ensure that the furniture and furnishings would be protected against potential spills and damage throughout client consultations. The most notable finishes specified were; Tasmanian Oak porta cladding and European White Oak plank flooring. Furnishings included natural leather-look upholstery, crisp matte white surfaces and oak timber look laminates.

The Werda logo was displayed on the right of the tenancy entry and the main hallway was lined with 3 keyframed artworks to portray the dominant colours used within the logo. Brass door handles and brass pendant light fixtures were specified to add a final touch of detail and interest to space.
